PricewaterhouseCoopers Place wins BOMA International Award
The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited is pleased to announce that this past week at the 2008 BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) International Conference in Denver, PricewaterhouseCoopers Place, won the International TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) award in the 100,000 to 249,999 square feet category.
This prestigious award was presented to Waterfront Properties General Manager, Lesley Heieis and Senior Operations Manager, Richard Morley as PricewaterhouseCoopers Place emerged from a strong field of six other international building finalists.
"We are fortunate to have such a well designed and attractive building as part of our portfolio at Waterfront Properties in Vancouver”, said Lesley. “The building's physical assets combined with Cadillac Fairview's best in class management practices and the Waterfront team's passion for excellence were all factors that helped us achieve recognition for PWC Place at the International level.”
The TOBY Awards honour the buildings—and the men and women who own and manage the buildings—that exemplify excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning, and community impact. The awards program recognizes excellence in hundreds of communities around the world, first at the local level, then regional, and finally culminating in the international awards. Competing for the award is an extremely comprehensive process as buildings are judged on everything from community involvement to site management.
Located in Vancouver, B.C., PricewaterhouseCoopers Place is a dynamic building that sits in the heart of the Waterfront Properties office towers. A short walk from the province’s central business district, Pricewaterhouse Coopers Place offers convenient access to many of Vancouver’s major hotels, office complexes, shopping malls and various forms of mass transit.
Tenants of the building have exclusive access to a wide range of amenities including a state of the art fitness center, bike cage, spacious conference facilities and shops on the ground level.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Place is a model for quality guest services. The building boasts a concierge service, 24-hour Service Centre, on-site building engineering staff and 24-hour manned security monitoring with a fully programmable access card system. With such extensive support for its tenants and employees it is no surprise that the building has been recognized with such a well regarded award.
